Glen Strang, owner of AmeriSpec of Nova Scotia since 1996, has over 20 years of experience in the home inspection business and holds the Registered Home Inspector (RHI) designation as a member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI). Glen is  WETT Certified through WETT-NS,  and holds a Level 1 infrared thermography designation.  Glen is also certified by Natural Resources Canada as an Energy Auditor and is trained to perform Radon Testing through C-NRPP.

Meet Our Home Inspectors

Jason Fraser

Jason has worked with AmeriSpec since 2011. He is a graduate of the Nova Scotia Community College’s Energy Sustainability Engineering Technology (ESET) program, which focuses on energy sustainability and renewable energy generation. Jason is a Natural Resources of Canada Certified Energy Auditor for existing residential homes and is trained for EnergyStar and EnerGuide Certifications for the New Homes program. Jason has completed his AmeriSpec Home Inspection (ASHI) training,  is a WETT Certified inspector through WETT-NS and is certified by C-NRPP to preform Radon Testing.

Sean Beland

Sean has worked with AmeriSpec Inspection Services since 2009. He has a strong contractor background and is a skilled renovations carpenter. Sean is a Natural Resources of Canada Certified Energy Auditor for existing residential homes and has completed his AmeriSpec Home Inspection (ASHI) training and is a WETT Certified inspector through WETT-NS. Sean is also C-NAPP certified to preform Radon Testing.

Meet our Energy Advisors

Bradley Austen

Bradley is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University with a degree in Environmental Earth Science. In 2013, he earned a diploma from the Nova Scotia Community College, in Energy Sustainability Engineering Technology. This course focused on building science, and renewable energy. To further his knowledge in energy efficiency, Bradley completed training through the Canadian Passive House Institute in passive house design and modeling as well as additional training in residential mechanical ventilation design. Bradley is a Natural Resources of Canada Certified Energy Auditor for existing residential homes and is trained for EnergyStar and EnerGuide Certifications for the New Homes program.

Shawn Levy

Shawn completed the Carson Dunlop Home Inspection Certification program through Dalhousie University in 2016 and began working for Amerispec just prior to completion. He has an extensive construction background including new and existing homes. Shawn is Natural Resources of Canada Certified Energy Auditor for existing homes.  He brings expert knowledge, superior quality and unwavering integrity to every job.

Linda-Maria Pride

Linda is a graduate of Notre Dame Secretarial College and has been working with AmeriSpec of Nova Scotia since 2009. Linda’s strong administrative and management skills provide a well-organized office environment that allows the company to achieve a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Julie is a graduate of Clarke Business College and has been working with AmeriSpec since 2009. Julies background  in customer service and scheduling provides our office with an exceptional level of organization and efficiency. Julie is also our social media and website editor.
