Glen Strang, owner of AmeriSpec of Nova Scotia since 1996, has over 20 years of experience in the home inspection business and holds the Registered Home Inspector (RHI) designation as a member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI). Glen is WETT Certified through WETT-NS, and holds a Level 1 infrared thermography designation. Glen is also certified by Natural Resources Canada as an Energy Auditor and is trained to perform Radon Testing through C-NRPP.

Bradley Austen
Bradley is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University with a degree in Environmental Earth Science. In 2013, he earned a diploma from the Nova Scotia Community College, in Energy Sustainability Engineering Technology. This program focused on building science, and renewable energy. To further his knowledge in energy efficiency, Bradley completed training through the Canadian Passive House Institute in passive house design and modeling as well as additional training in residential mechanical ventilation design. Bradley is a Natural Resources of Canada Registered Energy Auditor for existing homes and is trained for EnergyStar and EnerGuide Certifications for the New Homes program.
Jesse Pride
Jesse is a graduate of NSCC Dartmouth with a certificate as an Architectural Engineering Technician. Jesse is a Natural Resources of Canada Registered Energy Auditor for existing homes and enerGuide for new home construction.
Chadd Hansen
Chadd is the newest member of the AmeriSpec of Nova Scotia team. He is a Natural Resources of Canada Registered Energy Auditor for existing homes and enerGuide for new home construction.
Meet our Office Staff
Linda-Maria Pride
As the Executive Director, Linda supervises both the office staff and field team. Linda also oversees our partnership the various Efficiency Nova Scotia Energy Programs. Linda is a graduate of Notre Dame Secretarial College and has been working with AmeriSpec of Nova Scotia since 2009. Linda’s strong administrative and management skills provide a well-organized office environment that allows the company to achieve a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Shawna St. James
Shawna started part-time with AmeriSpec of Nova Scotia in 2012 and has been with us full-time since 2018. Shawna is our New Home Construction Office Assistant. Her experience in customer service brings an exceptional level of communication.
Laura Jarvie
Laura is the newest member of our office team. Laura’s experience with scheduling and customer service brings added excellence to our team. Laura’s role is as our receptionist and scheduler.
